Surgery of implants with a wound (Simplant®)

The new technique of 3D radiology allow us to carry out a diagnostic plan of the case and a computer-guided surgery through the use of a specific software (Simplant ®). It  also aids the clinician in the fabrication of a surgical guide that translates the computer simulation into the mouth of the patient with complete accuracy , thanks to our study of the 3D bone anatomy in advance.

As a result of the use of the CT scan and 3D radiology software, we can place the implants without raising a surgical flap.
This allows the oral surgeon to perform a much faster and less aggressive surgery, with an obvious reduction of postoperative pain and inconveniences, and also can sometimes avoid the placement of sutures.

In addition, 3D technology allows the restorative dentist to design a better prosthesis from the aesthetic point of view, and in many cases, to perform the immediate loading of the provisional fixed teeth.
